Devastation in Turkey and Syria
A number of us have seen the devastation and the heart wrenching images from the areas affected by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria. As of this writing, around 25,000 people have lost their lives. It is hard to fathom, no words really come to mind to describe it.
2 Timothy 3:1 says”But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come.” Why did God allow this to happen? We can only have faith that He is sovereign and that His ways are not ours.
They need prayer and support. We need to trust in Him at all times, O people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us (Ps 62:8). Please pray that through the devastation, God would be glorified, the volunteers will be able to forget the images and horrifying memories, the Lord will protect them. Pray for the injured and those that have lost loved ones that miraculous healing will come. Pray that many will come to Christ through this, that the Christian ministries will show the mercy and Grace of our great God. To God be the glory forever and every, Amen.
